Joyce Tse, D.D.S.

Dr. Joyce Tse attended the University of California, Berkeley as an undergraduate, and then studied at the University of California, San Francisco Dental School where she received her D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery). She has enjoyed practicing family and cosmetic dentistry in the Bay Area since 1991.

Dr. Tse’s desire to provide patients with the highest quality of care led to the construction of a new facility, Dragon Dental Group. Started in 2002, this state-of-the-art office is equipped with the latest in technological advancements necessary to provide excellence in dentistry and, of course, patient comfort.

Dr. Tse successfully completed many advanced dental training and she regularly attends seminars and classes featuring the latest in dental technology and procedures. Dr. Tse is a member of American Dental Association, California Dental Association and Alameda County Dental Society. Dr. Tse is also a Diplomat of International Congress of Oral Implantologists and Diplomat of American Dental Implant Association.

 

Eric Cheung, D.D.S.

Dr. Eric Cheung finished his undergraduate degree at the University of California, Berkeley before pursuing his professional career at the University of California, San Francisco where he received his D.D.S. (Doctor of Dental Surgery).

Dr. Cheung’s goal is to provide the best care for every patient. He is committed to making beautiful and healthy smiles in comfortable and relaxed environment.

Dr. Cheung’s memberships include the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Francisco Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentists.

 

 

Jennifer Ngo, D.D.S.

Dr. Jennifer Ngo

Native Californian, Dr. Jennifer Ngo was raised in San Jose and studied at The University of Santa Clara, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Her doctorate in Dental Surgery was achieved at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco.

A member of the California Dental Association and the American Dental Association, Dr. Ngo works closely with her patients and maintains outstanding clinical standards to ensure the best treatment possible for everyone she sees. She specifically takes time to discuss treatments with those who are reluctant to visit a dentist and help them overcome anxieties. As she strongly believes that dental care is a vital part of overall healthcare, Dr. Ngo not only treats patients, but aims to educate them on how to clean and maintain their smile at home.

Recognizing that the field of dentistry evolves and advances, Dr. Ngo continues to take courses and learn about new technologies and treatment techniques. She has participated in humanitarian trips to provide healthcare to rural areas in Vietnam, Honduras, and Jamaica, and can also be seen volunteering locally at The Berkeley Free Clinic and San Francisco’s Project Homeless Connect. In her free time she enjoys science fiction, yoga, sculpting, and cooking.

 

Semi Lim, D.M.D. (Periodontist)

Dr. Semi Lim finished her undergraduate degree at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) before pursuing her dental and specialty training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. She is a clinical instructor in UCSF Dental School Periodontal Department.

Dr. Lim is a Board certified periodontist. She is actively involved with the dental community and focus on the forefront of current research to provide her patients with the best care possible. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and an International Congress of Oral Implantologists Scholar.

 

 

Michael Schuman, D.D.S. (Oral Surgeon)

Dr. Schuman was born and raised in New York and did his dental training New York University. He completed his residency training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the Bellevue Hospital program in New York City. He moved to California in 1983.

Dr. Schuman is a Fellow in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, Fellow American Assoc. of OMS, Cal. Society of OMS, a member of the American Dental Association, The California Dental Association, The American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Western Society of OMS, as well as a member of the Mid-Penninsula Dental Society. He is also on staff at El Camino Hospital in Mountain View as well as local surgi-centers.

In addition to routine extractions, Dr. Schuman has had years of experience performing complicated impacted wisdom teeth removal, impacted canines surgeries, orthognathic surgery for orthodontics, frenectomies, crown lengthening, and bone grafts.

Prior to providing care to our patients, we review thoroughly not only your dental history, but also your medical history, so we can best diagnose your problem and treat your problem and concerns fully. Dr. Schuman will discuss with you the best treatment as well as any options. Dr. Schuman is a Fellow in the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and therefore, he can offer a choice of general anesthesia, I.V. sedation and local anesthesia for any surgical procedure you need.
